By accessing or using MiauMiau ("the Service"), including our mobile application and website at miaumiau.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification.
2. Service Description
MiauMiau provides the following services:
- Cat health tracking — weight, vaccinations, medications, vet visits, daily check-ins, and feeding logs.
- Cat food database — AI-scored nutritional analysis across a large European product catalog.
- AI health advisor — conversational health guidance powered by large language models, personalized to your cat's profile and health history.
- Breed information — detailed care guides for cat breeds.
3. Important Health Disclaimer
MiauMiau provides wellness insights and information. It is NOT a substitute for professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Always consult a qualified veterinarian for medical decisions regarding your cat's health. The AI health advisor provides general guidance based on your cat's profile and publicly available veterinary knowledge. Do not delay seeking professional veterinary care based on information provided by MiauMiau.
In case of a medical emergency, contact your veterinarian or an emergency animal hospital immediately.
4. User Accounts and Responsibilities
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- a)Provide accurate and complete information during registration.
- b)Keep your account credentials secure and not share them with others.
- c)Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
- d)Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- e)Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.
You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account.
5. Intellectual Property
The MiauMiau name, logo, design system, food scoring algorithms, AI models, and all content created by MiauMiau (including but not limited to text, graphics, UI design, and code) are the intellectual property of MiauMiau and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.
You retain ownership of all data you submit to the Service (cat profiles, health records, photos). By using the Service, you grant MiauMiau a limited license to process this data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MiauMiau shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damages arising from reliance on health information provided by the Service.
MiauMiau's total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to MiauMiau in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
7. Subscription Terms
MiauMiau offers a free tier and a premium subscription:
Free Tier
Includes health tracking for up to 2 cats, full access to the food database, 3 AI advisor queries per month, 30-day health history, and feeding schedule reminders. Free forever — no credit card required.
Premium Subscription
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, managed by RevenueCat. Prices are displayed in your local currency at checkout.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing period. Refund requests for other circumstances are handled by the respective app store.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time through the app settings or by emailing [email protected]. Upon deletion, all your personal data will be permanently erased within 30 days.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or use the Service in ways that may harm other users or our infrastructure. We will provide notice before termination unless immediate action is required to prevent harm.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you also benefit from mandatory provisions of the consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
