Delete yourMiauMiau account

You can permanently delete your account and the data associated with it from the MiauMiau app.

Delete your account in the app

  1. Open MiauMiau and sign in to the account you want to delete.
  2. Open Profile, then Settings, then Account.
  3. Select Delete Account and confirm the warning.
  4. Type DELETE when prompted, then confirm deletion.

This request cannot be undone. You will be signed out and local MiauMiau data on that device will also be cleared.

If you cannot access the app

Send the request from the email address associated with your MiauMiau account. The prepared email uses the subject “MiauMiau account deletion request”. We may ask you to verify account ownership before acting on the request.

Delete data without deleting your account

You can delete individual cat profiles and their associated health, feeding, water, medication, vaccination, weight, and vet-visit records from the relevant screens in MiauMiau. To request deletion of other specific data while keeping your account, send the prepared email from the address associated with your account and describe the data you want removed. We may ask you to verify account ownership.

Data deleted with your account

Deleting your account removes the account and data you own in MiauMiau, including:

  • Your profile, authentication sessions, and notification tokens.
  • Owned cat profiles, health records, check-ins, feeding and water logs.
  • Vaccinations, medications, weight entries, and vet visits.
  • Owned household data, pending invitations, and related entitlements.
  • Uploaded photos, videos, and audio stored under your account.

If you are only a member of a household owned by another person, your membership is removed without deleting the owner’s household or cat records.

Retention and subscriptions

We complete account-deletion requests within 30 days. Limited records may be retained only where required for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, security, or dispute-resolution obligations. De-identified or aggregated information that can no longer identify you may also be retained.

Deleting your MiauMiau account does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Manage or cancel the subscription separately through the store where you purchased it.
